Individual Therapy

Individual therapy provides a confidential, one-on-one space where you can openly discuss your thoughts, emotions, challenges, and life experiences in a supportive and judgment-free environment. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, insomnia, trauma-related symptoms, life stressors, or simply feeling overwhelmed, therapy can help you better understand your experiences and develop healthier ways to cope.

If you have tried therapy before and did not feel heard, understood, or connected with your therapist or if this is your first time considering therapy, you are not alone. Therapy is designed to meet you where you are and provide support tailored to your individual needs and goals. Through integrative, evidence-based practices, you can learn effective coping skills, improve emotional wellness, and navigate daily life with greater confidence, balance, and self-awareness.

Group Therapy

Group therapy provides a supportive and encouraging environment where you can connect with others who may be experiencing similar challenges. It can be a powerful way to build confidence, strengthen communication and social skills, develop healthy coping strategies, and feel less alone in your experiences. Group therapy is especially beneficial for individuals who may struggle with peer relationships, emotional support, or feeling understood by others.

Currently offering two therapy groups:

Teen Girls Therapy Group
For teens ages 13–17.

This group focuses on building self-esteem, emotional regulation, healthy coping skills, communication skills, and peer connection in a supportive and judgment-free environment.

  • 6–8 week program
  • 60–90 minute sessions
  • Up to 8 group members

Mom2Mom Support Group
For mothers with children newborn to 6 years old.

This group provides support for mothers navigating the emotional challenges of motherhood, stress management, self-care, identity changes, and balancing everyday responsibilities while connecting with other moms in a supportive space.

  • 6–8 week program
  • 60–90 minute sessions
  • Up to 8 group members

Both groups are currently enrolling for our summer sessions. A pre-group consultation session will be completed prior to enrollment to help determine if the group is an appropriate fit for your needs. Some insurance plans may cover group therapy service

Emotional Support Animal Assessment & Documentation

Emotional Support Animal (ESA) evaluations are completed through a comprehensive clinical interview and assessment process to determine whether an individual meets criteria for a qualifying mental health diagnosis and whether an ESA is clinically appropriate for their support needs. Common qualifying diagnoses may include anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

Valid ESA letters must be completed by a licensed mental health professional or physician following a proper clinical evaluation. Many online “instant ESA letter” services may not meet legal, ethical, or clinical standards. ESA letters are intended for housing accommodations under the Fair Housing Act only and do not provide public access rights. Emotional support animals are not service animals and do not require specialized training.

The ESA assessment fee is not billable through insurance. Assessments may include clinical interviewing, screening tools, and review of relevant documentation when appropriate. If approved, letters are typically completed within 10 business days. Letters are limited to one dog or cat. Additional clinical recommendations may be made when appropriate to ensure mental health needs are being properly addressed.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is considered a highly effective, evidence-based first-line treatment for chronic insomnia and sleep difficulties. CBT-I focuses on identifying and changing the thoughts, behaviors, and habits that contribute to ongoing sleep problems, without relying solely on sleep medications.

Benefits of CBT-I may include:

• Improved sleep quality in 70–80% of individuals with insomnia
• Reduction or elimination of sleep medication use in many patients
• Improvement in co-occurring concerns such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD
• Longer-lasting results compared to sleep medications alone
• Noticeable improvement in as little as 5–8 sessions

If you are struggling with difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or feeling rested, CBT-I may help you achieve lasting sleep improvement and better overall well-being.

Sports Performance Counseling

Sports Performance Counseling is a specialized area of counseling focused on helping athletes improve mental performance, emotional wellness, confidence, and overall functioning both on and off the field. Athletes often face unique pressures that can impact performance and mental health, including performance anxiety, injuries, burnout, academic stress, identity concerns, grief and loss, and the pressure to perform at a high level.

Sports performance counseling can help athletes strengthen confidence, improve focus and motivation, enhance emotional regulation, develop healthy coping strategies, and gain a stronger mental edge in competition. Services are designed to support athletes in reaching their personal, academic, and athletic goals while also prioritizing overall mental wellness.

Services are available for athletes of all ages and competitive levels, including youth, high school, collegiate, elite, and professional athletes across a variety of sports including baseball, softball, football, basketball, soccer, cheer, dance, volleyball, and more.

Evidenced Based Trauma Therapy

Trauma can be anything that overwhelms the brain’s ability to cope. Trauma-informed care is designed to support individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, or physical symptoms related to traumatic experiences. Trauma can impact daily functioning, relationships, emotional regulation, sleep, self-esteem, and overall well-being, even long after the event has occurred.

Maggie is trained in evidence-based trauma treatments including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), both of which are highly effective treatments for PTSD and trauma-related symptoms in both veterans and civilians. These therapies help individuals better understand how trauma affects thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and daily functioning while developing healthier ways to process and recover from traumatic experiences.

CPT and PE have been shown to be effective for a variety of traumatic experiences including combat trauma, sexual assault, domestic violence, childhood trauma, accidents, and other life-threatening or distressing events. These are structured, short-term treatments that typically range from 8–15 sessions depending on individual needs and treatment goals.

Maggie received specialized trauma training through the Strong Star Training Initiative, which focuses on training clinicians in evidence-based treatments for PTSD and related mental health concerns to increase access to high-quality trauma care.

Suicidal Ideation Intervention and Prevention | Crisis Services

Crisis services are designed for individuals experiencing suicidal ideation, self-injury, intrusive thoughts, severe emotional distress, or other high-risk mental health concerns. These services focus on helping individuals regain stability, increase safety, strengthen coping skills, and reduce the intensity of crisis-related symptoms in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment.

Maggie is highly trained and skilled in crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and evidence-based approaches including Crisis Response Planning (CRP). Treatment focuses on identifying warning signs, developing effective coping strategies, increasing support systems, and creating individualized safety plans to help clients navigate difficult moments more safely and effectively.

Her approach prioritizes stabilization, support, and collaborative care with the goal of helping clients avoid unnecessary hospitalization whenever clinically appropriate. As a clinician experienced in working with high-risk individuals, Maggie strives to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while carefully assessing safety needs and ensuring clients receive the appropriate level of support and intervention.
